Free stock photos
Stockphoto.com (Getty Photos) and Shutterstock.com are well-known places for paid stock. You can find pictures of anything here - but at a higher price. Also, most stock photos are very good, very good. Think over and over again the typical American portraits of happy, silly people with white teeth.
Fortunately, there are alternatives. We've compiled a list of ten sites with free stock photos for your convenience:
1. UNSPLASH
Do whatever you want with their collection of beautiful, high-resolution images of more than 300,000 from over 50,000 contributors. Unsplash does not offer the same number of options as some paid sites, but the images are high quality and thousands are added daily. Chances are you will find something to work with on this free site.
2. GRATISOGRAPHY
Freography has something else going on. They pride themselves on being "a global collection of free-resolution images." They will not be compared to Unsplash in terms of quantity, but that is not their intention. They do well to offer free and customized images that are “in stock” rather than what you see elsewhere. Only the most “interesting” posts are edited on this site.
3. MORGUEFILE
This site is also somewhat different. Images are not selected and are not professionally produced as in Unsplash or Frequap. You will find photos of random people and everyday objects, such as your aunt Sally shared her Google Photos stream. Morguefile is not a place to find great pictures in the headlines, but if you need a simple baby picture brushing teeth, this is a free stock photography website.

4. VEHICLE
This site has a very large database of high quality images. Somehow targeted at business and advertising than Unsplash, which often helps content marketers and bloggers. Another great advantage of Pixabay is that they also offer free vectors and images.
5. STOCKVAULT
Stovault is another great source of free stock photos, wallpapers, and make-up. The collection may be almost half the size of Unsplash, but it is neatly folded and added new ones every day. This site has good search engines and is well organized so that we can look through the category.
6. FLOWERS
We cannot make posts in free stock photos without mentioning pixels. Their large, well-organized collection of free stock photos is one of the best ways to make online. Plus, they have free stock videos! Pixels are the go-to image source for many bloggers.
7. PICJUMBO
Named after a 24-year-old photographer who was tired of finding out that his photos had been rejected by major stock sites and decided to create his own, PicJumbo is now a community of free stock photography with a huge selection of beautiful free photos.
8. PIKWIZARD
In addition to having a large collection of unique stock images, Pikwazard also offers a design wizard that allows you to make basic layouts like adding more text before downloading. While the basics are free, they also have a paid online photo editing tool that works perfectly.
9. RAWPIXEL
Rawpixel claims to have the most diverse collection of stock photography in the industry - and that may be true. They also have vectors, PSD mockups, and public domain content such as the famous Japanese wood panel print. Their paid choices contribute to achieving the Hope of Children.
